Workplace Accessibility Grant


Small Business BC is offering financial assistance to small businesses for creating accessible work environments for individuals with disabilities. Eligible businesses can apply for funding to undertake projects that enhance workplace accessibility while addressing barriers for people with disabilities. Applications are due by March 31, 2024.

Short Term Rental Regulations

In a recent interview with the Vancouver Sun, TIABC CEO Walt Judas acknowledged concerns from property owners about upcoming short-term rental regulations effective May 1st. TIABC is actively collaborating with the government to explore exemptions for purpose-built tourism accommodations, ensuring communities have sufficient visitor lodging options.
